While holding it down tap the F10 key.<\/strong> This will bring up the Acer Erecovery screen. Next choose <strong>Restore System to Factory Default.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>ASUS<\/strong>&#8211; Tap the F9 key at startup. If <strong>F9<\/strong> doesn&#39;t work, turn off the PC, turn it back on, and immediately tap the <strong>F8<\/strong> key and navigate to &quot;Repair Your Computer&quot; to get to the options for the factory restore.<\/p>\n<p><strong>COMPAQ<\/strong>&#8211; Compaqs usually use <strong>F11<\/strong> at startup to access the factory restore. If that doesn&#39;t work you can also try <strong>F10<\/strong> or <strong>F8 and then select &quot;Repair your Computer&quot;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>DELL<\/strong>&#8211; You can access the system restore on most Dell computers by tapping the <strong>F8<\/strong> key when the PC first turns on. This will take you to the &quot;Advanced Boot Options&quot; menu. Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to select &quot;Repair Your Computer&quot;. Next click &quot;Dell Factory Image Restore&quot;.<br \/>\nuse <strong>F12 <\/strong>to go to Bio.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GATEWAY-<\/strong> Tap <strong>F8<\/strong> and select <strong>&quot;Repair Your Computer&quot;<\/strong> to access the options for the factory restore.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HP<\/strong>&#8211; Most HP&#39;s use the F11 key at startup to access the factory restore. HP&#39;s calls it the &quot;Recovery Manager&quot;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IBM-<\/strong> IBM&#39;s almost always use the <strong>F11<\/strong> key at startup to access the recovery partition.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LENOVO<\/strong>&#8211; Lenovo PC&#39;s use <strong>F11<\/strong> at start up to access the factory restore.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SAMSUNG<\/strong>&#8211; Samsung PC&#39;s usually use <strong>F4<\/strong> at startup. Also try <strong>F6<\/strong> and <strong>F8<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TOSHIBA<\/strong>&#8211; Toshiba PC&#39;s usually use <strong>F8<\/strong> and then select &quot;<strong>Repair Your Computer<\/strong>&quot;.
